18 Jul Trip to Aras/Belfast City Hall/Stormont/Titanic Belfast

The group left on Sunday 2nd July to attend a garden party celebrating Irish Heritage marking the 75th anniversary of An Taisce, the National Trust for Ireland at Áras an Uachtaráin. They met President Michael Higgins and enjoyed strolling around the garden to the Peace Bell and the flower gardens and the house. The group then headed to Beechlawn Hotel, Dunmurry where they stayed for 2 nights. Monday was a busy day as they headed to City Hall in Belfast where the Lord Mayor, Ryan Murphy greeted them. After refreshments they headed straight to Stormont for a meet and greet with Naomi Long, Leader of the Alliance Party. A couple of photos later, they made their way to the Titanic Centre to enjoy a self-guided Titanic Experience.
